Your team must work together to get the most out of each ship. World of Warships: Legends is first and foremost a tactical war game on the high seas. Just something that would remove all interface logos of enemy ships, decrease general ship speed, remove projectile trails (but increase smoke) and suddenly you have a mode that tries to lean more towards realism, without actually changing that much.World of Warships: Legends | Image Credit: Wargaming I do realise that to be a game it has to be playable, and most people wouldn't want to spend 30 minutes getting up to speed only to get oneshot from over the horizon.īut I do feel there's room for something between the arcady style currently the only game mode and a full simulator experience. I might be mixing my games up, but it's either WoT or War Thunder that has both realism and a simulator mode. Battles could take hours, often times the ships didn't even see where they were shooting and had to rely on information from a spotter (like a plane). I don't know how the World of Tanks realism mode is done, but you have to keep in mind how navy battles were usually fought (with no CVs involved). In addition, i don't think a realism mode would work for WoWs. It's the same company, but different development teams. It's made by the same company that makes World of Tanks, I don't understand why they don't put the same features in.
